Today encountered a new problem. We had to change one system in our office. Earlier Kasperesky Antivirus software was installed in that system. But the problem was that the licence key can be used only 3 times. We have used it 3 times already. So what next ??
One of our seniour officer told me that you can ask kasperesky team for another key. So given them a mail regarding the issue. They have given a web link where we can ask for new key.
The first task is over now. Installed skype software in about 4 systems.
Now have to add contacts to each user. Adding new contacts is very very simple process. But here I am showing it in steps for those who are not at all familiar with these kind of applicatins.
1. Selecting New contact from Menu bar.
Here you will get a text box where you can search for the contacts. Enter the username of skype user you want to add and enter Find.
Its all about skype today.!
Yesterday System Manger got an Idea.. !! What about using Skype in Office .. ?
So downloaded skype from their official site http://skype.com. Installed in my system as well as in System Manager's Laptop. .
The simple installation of skype
1. Downloaded skype from http://www.skype.com
2. Saved the Skype setup Application.
3. Run the Skype setup Application.
4. Follow the setup Wizard.
5. Launched Skype Application from desktop.
This blog is not about how all the system troubleshooting can be done, not about doing a big software project. Here i like to write my daily activities as a system administrator. My experiences with the e-World, computers and Technology.
Daily I come across some trouble shooting of our computers in office. So I thought of writing my experiences in a diary. But later i thought about expressing those in a blog. In future when the problems again come, I can deal it with the experiences which i expressed in the blog.
